A recipe for taking care of yourself during the holidays

This recipe won't get your kitchen messy and, we hope, it'll brighten your day.

Ingredients:

  • One overflowing cup of self-kindness
  • A generous handful of letting go
  • Three deep, grounding breaths
  • A little time just for you (it’s the quality that matters, not the quantity)
  • A dose of support, to be shared with people you trust
  • A generous spoonful of rest

Directions:

  • Press play on your favorite song to set the mood.
  • Gently pour a little softness into your days, slowly mixing in some letting go.
  • Let it simmer at your own pace, until a moment of calm settles in.
  • Let rest on the couch for at least 15 minutes — blanket optional, but highly recommended.
  • Sprinkle with simple pleasures: a hot coffee, a walk outside, a comforting movie, or anything that helps you unplug.
  • Serve with a generous dose of humor and a touch of self-compassion.

Best enjoyed in the present moment, one day at a time.
