The information and training service:

• Ensures, for in-person activities, an appropriate room setup (e.g., flexible seating arrangements in a circle or semi-circle, separate spaces for small group activities or discussions, tables or surfaces for hands-on activities, etc.) and provides relevant materials (e.g., audiovisual equipment, whiteboards, posters, documents, brochures, etc.).
• Ensures, for online training, that participants have the necessary equipment (e.g., headset, webcam, access to a videoconferencing platform, etc.) and provides a tutorial on how to use the digital platform.
• Ensures that the information presented is based on reliable and recognized sources, and that sources of information, data, and studies are appropriately cited.

Practitioners can:

• Use a facilitation guide to support the planning and delivery of sessions (e.g., including clear objectives for each session, reflection questions, practical activities, and reminders of key points to address).
• Use a follow-up log or progress-tracking sheets to monitor caregivers’ individual progress, document their questions and concerns, and adjust support according to each participant’s specific needs.
• Suggest self-reflection exercises or questionnaires to caregivers to help them apply the theoretical concepts covered.
• Offer quizzes or other forms of assessment to ensure that caregivers have integrated the learning.
