Obtain funding for projects

Organizations funded to support caregivers

Each year, L’Appui pour les proches aidants works with hundreds of organizations and supports their projects aimed at caregivers.

The funding granted contributes to the implementation, maintenance or improvement of respite, psychosocial support, training and knowledge transfer services.

A few statistics attest to our commitment:

  • $137.7 million invested in 1,919 projects throughout Quebec since the creation of L’Appui, representing 1,457,190 hours of psychosocial support, training and information and 2,574,754 hours of respite offered.
    • In 2022–2023, $17.7 million was allocated to support 269 projects carried out by 212 organizations across Quebec. In total, 38,577 caregivers were supported through a funded project.

Organizations that provide services to caregivers regardless of the situation or age of the person being cared for may be eligible for funding from L’Appui pour les proches aidants.
