Located in the heart of Quebec City, Maison Michel-Sarrazin is a private, non-profit facility providing palliative and end-of-life care. Founded in 1985, Maison Michel-Sarrazin accommodates 16 terminally ill cancer patients. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life of these individuals and their loved ones, as well as providing them with Bereavement Services. In addition, it welcomes and supports palliative cancer patients who are living at home at its Bonenfant-Dionne Day Centre. The Maison also supports caregivers at home through Integrated Respite and Support Services for caregivers who provide home care to a person with cancer. Finally, the Integrated Outpatient Palliative Care Clinic at Maison Michel-Sarrazin supports people with cancer, as well as their loved ones, during the palliative phase of the disease, for symptom management and the journey of living with the disease. All care and services are provided free of charge.
