Call the Caregiver Support at 1 855 852-7784

AQPAMM’s mission is to raise the awareness of the general public and caregivers of seniors about issues related to ageing, mental health and caregiving.

Caregivers of seniors often work in the shadows, unaware of the multi-dimensional weight they carry. AQPAMM’s mission is to raise the awareness of the general public and caregivers of seniors about issues related to ageing, mental health and caregiving.

To this end, on October 9, AQPAMM filmed a short video featuring the stories of caregivers living with a mental health issue.

Caregivers are the best placed to share their experiences, challenges and motivations with respect to their role with their loved ones.

Three members of AQPAMM generously agreed to share their experiences with us, to get in front of the camera, to help other caregivers recognize themselves in their role, so they seek out the support they need.

To honour this job well done, we will show the video during an official launch party at our offices on November 8, 2019, from 5 pm to 7 pm.

We will welcome you with music featuring a Jazz band, of which one of the members is a caregiver of a senior.

We will also be serving aperitifs and appetizers.

AQPAMM hopes to see many of you there, whether you are close to someone with a mental health issue or a professional from the community.

Looking forward to seeing you,

Anne-Marie Pelletier, support worker and project manager at AQPAMM
