Répit Chouette-Nuit et Évasion (Cozy-Night and Escape Respite) – Montérégie-Est - RLS Pierre-Boucher

This project includes two forms of respite in the CISSS de la Montérégie-Est and area. The services offered can be tailored to the needs of the client.

• Escape Respite: 56 hours’ respite (three days / two nights) plus a four-hour knowledge
transfer session the week before the Escape, to connect with the support worker and go
over the routine of the person receiving care. This pre-respite service also gives the
caregiver a chance to meet the support worker who will be looking after their loved one, and
thereby leave feeling completely confident and able to fully enjoy their respite.

• Cozy-Night Respite: 12 hours of respite overnight, once a week for 12 weeks. This type of
respite helps lighten the caregiver’s load significantly by providing an opportunity for the
caregiver to take a break in the evening and night. This helps the person receiving care stay
in their home.

This project includes two types of respite in the CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest area. The services offered can be tailored to the needs of the client.

This project provides a form of occasional respite in the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre area. It can be customized to the needs of the client.

Répit Chouette-Nuit (Cozy-Night Respite): 12 hours of respite overnight, once a week for 12 weeks. This type of respite should lighten the caregiver’s load by providing an opportunity for the caregiver to take a break in the evening and night. This helps the person receiving care stay in their home, thereby respecting the caregiver’s wishes.
