1-800-NOTAIRE

1-800-NOTAIRE is a free service which provides the entire population of Québec with access to basic legal information. The 1-800-NOTAIRE (668-2473) telephone service allows Quebecers to speak, free of charge, to notaries who have worked in several areas of notarial law. It is accessible from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

AMI-Quebec helps family caregivers cope with mental illness in a loved one. Family includes those in the circle of support of someone living with mental illness (parents, spouses, siblings, adult children, friends, etc.).

Founded in 1983, the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Society of Quebec is a non-profit community organization. Biblio-Aidants

Biblio-Aidants consists of a series of 15 thematic booklets that inform caregivers about various illnesses as well as the issues that they face. Each booklet provides a list of organizations, a selection of relevant websites, as well as reading and film suggestions. The Biblio-Aidants program is an information service for caregivers coordinated by the Québec Public Library Association. More than 580 libraries across Québec participate in this initiative.
